The Peritoneal Surface Oncology Group International (PSOGI) was founded by Prof Sugarbaker to promote research, education, and innovations in patient care regarding peritoneal metastases. The major goal is to implement the transfer of basic science research and clinical research to patient care.
The middle east PSOGI meeting in Jeddah February 8th-10th 2025 will cover the management of peritoneal carcinomatosis from basic to advance level and will focus on the management of patients with gastrointestinal cancer, gynecologic malignancy, and peritoneal mesothelioma and more. In addition, the establishment of multiple collaborations with international experts in the field for research and education and the foundation hopefully of the national registry of peritoneal carcinomatosis.
