Present an update on Peritoneal Surface Malignancy from basic to advanced management
Cancer care is rapidly evolving, and keeping pace with growing knowledge and accumulating evidence are crucial for all those involved in cancer care. One of cancer domains that remarkably evolved over the last two decades is personal surface malignancy, the way it’s addressed, diagnosed, and the way it is being treated. Historically it used to be perceived as a pre-terminal event. Nowadays, luckily, we can offer more to make a difference in outcome and many patients demonstrate long survivorship post cytoreductive surgery hated peritoneal chemotherapy. The peritoneal surface oncology group international (PSOGI) is a collaboration of worldwide experts in diagnosis and treatment of peritoneal cancer. This group drives the needle forward on the way we address peritoneal cancer and the ways to treat it.
We are pleased to announce the first Middle East personal surface oncology group international meeting hosted by the ministry of national guard health affairs between fourth and sixth of February at Intercontinental Hotel Jeddah, Kingdom, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting comprises well thought solid scientific program, presented by world-renowned faculty across the world. It will certainly be an exciting conference for all those who are interested and involved in cancer care, including general physicians, medical oncologists, Surgeons, Surgical Oncologists, Gynecological Oncologist, Nurses, Pathologists, Medical Imaging experts, and trainees.
I would like to thank the organizing and scientific committees for the great work of putting this program together and thank all attendees for making it to the conference.
Enjoy the meeting, enjoy Jeddah!
